Components
- QUWB-GPS™ Anchor
- Q-Tag
- QUWB-GPS™ Server
QUWB-GPS uses a constellation of anchors up high to enable real-time location data using ultra-wide band (UWB). Anchors are powered using ethernet with up to 15 chained devices powered by the same source.
A UWB transceiver, Q-Tag provides real-time location data for static or mobile devices. Q-Tags feature a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 6 months. They have a 3-axis gyroscope, accelerometer, and magnetometer, and can be mounted on safety vests or hard hats.
The QUWB-GPS™ Server is a Linux-based server that ties everything together and is required to use the Quarion Technology™ apps. QUWB-GPS™ Server has a system configuration utility, and is used to calculate real-time location. It’s also responsible for transmitting data to Q-Lytix™, Quarion’s analytics platform.

DockSAFE™ uses the QUWB-GPS™ real-time location system to precisely monitor the forklift position and heading as well as monitor the status of the loading dock locking mechanism.
SpeedNFORCE™ modules work in conjunction with QUWB-GPS™ to interface with the vehicle throttle and ECU to provide configurable speed limiting based on customizable zones.
ForkSENSE™ excels where warning lights and signage fail with advanced sensor technology to know fork height and real-time location information to prevent mast collisions with overhead obstacles.
Q-Lytix is Quarion’s analytics platform for QUWB-GPS. Q-Lytix can generate usage reports, heatmaps, and more. Use Q-Lytix to fine-tune zone definitions to keep your safety up-to-date.
